Beijing Ladies Golf
2007 Report
Again , in 2007 we organized two Pink Ribbon events to raise money for the breast
cancer centre of the Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) here in
Beijing.
Abella Italian Restaurant was kind enough to host an evening at their restaurant,
providing a buffet dinner with drinks. This evening was used as a Pink Ribbon
Fundraiser and raised RMB8.840.
The Pink Ribbon Tournament was held on Thursday, 24 May and was a fun filled
event with some very nice prizes that could be won by either playing well or being
lucky!
2006 Report
Dr Ma Enling sent us the following update on 30 Nov. 2006:
Total donation: RMB 80,000
(1) RMB 30,000 to the first candidate for breast cancer operation and breast
reconstruction and chemotherapy: a poor young depressed mother from rural area
who is the only financial supporter of the family by her temporary job in Beijing.
(2) RMB 30,000 has been used for a second patient.
(3) RMB 10,000 to PUMCH Breast Cancer Center for clinical study on sentinel lymph
node biopsy for decreasing the destruction extent of the thoracic wall during breast
cancer resection.
(4) RMB 10,000 to PUMCH Division of Plastic Surgery for clinical study on the relation
between breast reconstruction and radio therapeutic effect.
Drink for Pink 2008
On Thursday, 15 May the Beijing Ladies Golf hosted the third annual Drink for Pink
Charity Cocktail Party.
The event was a great success with a great deal of money raised for breast cancer
research and treatment in Beijing. Not only that, but a great time was had by all.

2008 Pink Ribbon Tournament
On Thursday, 29 May we will be holding the third annual Pink Ribbon Tournament to
help raise funds for breast cancer treatment and research in Beijing.
The tournament is a great fun event open to players of all skill levels, men and
