The Beijing Ladies Golf (BLG) is a group of enthusiastic ladies of different nationalities who share a love of golf. Playing with the BLG is a great way to meet people, have fun and improve your game.
All levels of golfers are welcome, although you need to have played before and have some basic knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.
The BLG plays every Thursday for a 9:00AM tee-off. Most rounds (18 holes) will be played at the Beijing Country Golf Club (BCC) where the green fee/caddie fee is 290RMB including lunch. Usually each flight consists of 3 players. Once or twice a month the group plays at other courses, such as: Beijing Golf Club, Huang Gang, Huatang, Jinhua, Beijing International, Tianzhu etc.
The BLG Committee also organizes fun events throughout the season such as games, tournaments, luncheons and workshops.
Membership dues are RMB300 annually from March till March (RMB150 from 1 August onwards). As a member of the BLG, you enjoy the privilege of playing week days at Beijing Country Golf Club (BCC) for the same reduced rate of 290RMB.
The BLG Committee provides you with a handicap once 5 rounds of golf of 18 holes have been completed and the score cards handed in to a committee member or deposited in the BLG box at BCC. The method used to calculate the handicaps is the most commonly used method in golf. While it is not officially recognized, it gives you an overview of your progress.
The BLG membership card also entitles you to discounts at various restaurants and shops around Beijing. For details check out the 'Sponsors' page on this website.
